Copper River King Salmon, also known as Chinook, is the largest of the Pacific salmon species. They have a silvery-blue hue, sometimes with a hint of green on their backs and black spots on their tail and upper body. King salmon are renowned for their rich, buttery flavor and high fat content. This luxurious fat gives the flesh a delicate, melt-in-your-mouth texture and a moist, succulent bite. The flesh can range from deep red to an orange-red color.
